Renovation of a fire / police facility in Siesta Key, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Sarasota County will be selecting a vendor to provide Electrical Service Repairs to Fire Station 13. Refer to the Solicitation Documents and Attachments section for minimum qualifications, scope/specifications, and insurance requirements. The County anticipates issuing a purchase order for this project. OVERVIEW Contractor shall provide repairs to the electrical service system that provides power to Sarasota County Fire Station 13. 2. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. Contractor shall install 3" PVC (polyvinyl chloride) conduit from the Florida Power & Light (FPL) hand hole to the meter socket on the south-west corner of the building. B. Contractor shall perform directional boring and installation of a 3" conduit from the FPL hand hole to the west side of the driveway. C. Contractor shall install four (4) strands of 350 MCM (Thousand Circular Mils) THHN (Thermoplastic High Heat-Resistant Nylon) from meter socket to handhole. D. Contractor shall complete and submit permits for work in addition to attending any required inspections. E. Contractor shall include landscape and hardscape repairs as part of the project. F. All work must meet or exceed the current National Electrical Code published by the National Fire Protection Association. Question Submission Deadline:October 24, 2025, 5:00pm
