INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE Review this section to gain a general understanding of what the State of Wisconsin (State) intends to purchase. Reviewing this section will help determine the Bidder's ability to meet the Department of Administration Division of Facilities Development's needs. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE REQUEST FOR BID The State of Wisconsin, Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS) on behalf of the Department of Administration (DOA), Division of Facilities Development (DFD), requests Bids from qualified vendor(s) to provide Eddy Current Testing of evaporator, condenser, absorber, concentrator and surface condenser tubes on various reciprocating, centrifugal, absorption water chillers and surface condensers at Stateowned facilities throughout the state and intends to use the results of this process to award a Contract. DFD does not guarantee it shall purchase any specific quantity or dollar amount or pay any minimum contract cost during the term of the Contract. CONTRACT TERM This shall be for three (3) years and shall be effective on the date it is executed by DFD. If no formal Contract is executed, the effective date of the Contract is the date of the purchase order. The copies of the report must be received by the Department of Administration DFD representative three (3) weeks after completion of the on-site inspection.
