Development of Student Housing. TIMELINE: A Request For Expressions Of Interest (REOI) has been issued by Toronto Metropolitan University (the "University" or "TMU") seeking interest from Proponents who have an interest in financing and potentially also designing, building and possibly also operating a student housing facility within close proximity or with access to public transportation to Toronto Metropolitan University. The intent of this EOI is to allow the University to understand what options may be available to help the University achieve its goal of increasing the amount of affordable student housing available to TMU students. There is a preference from the University for options that require no to little upfront development and/or operating capital. The information gathered as part of the EOI will be used to assist the University in developing a more accurate Scope of Work (SOW) and overall approach for an upcoming Request for Proposals (RFP). The University firmly believes that participation will be mutually beneficial to both Proponents and to the University; however, participation in this EOI is completely optional (i.e., NOT mandatory in order to participate in the future RFP or RFPs).
