Renovation of a transportation facility in Cornwells Heights, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority ("SEPTA") is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants for Architectural and Engineering ("A&E") Services for the Design of Cornwells Heights ADA Station Improvements Project. The purpose of this project is to provide Architectural and Engineering Services for the Design of Cornwells Heights Station that will make the station fully ADA accessible and includes full length high-level platforms, new passenger shelters, security improvements, and passenger amenities. In addition, the project will include the design of accessible high-level and low-level platforms including stairs, ramps, and elevators, to the new pedestrian overpass bridge between the two platforms and to the parking areas. Modifications to the existing parking lot are necessary to address associated changes included in the Work. The questions due date that is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024 has been moved. All questions must be received no later than COB (4:00 pm ET) on Friday, April 26, 2024. Answers to submitted questions will be issued to all Proposers, via an Addendum, no later than COB on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. As of January 14, 2026, an issuance of short-listed firms has not been released. A design firm selection timeline has not been disclosed.
