Westmoreland County is a Third Class County in southwestern Pennsylvania. The Westmoreland County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed architectural and engineering firms and/or individuals to provide various professional architectural and engineering services on an as needed basis. Funding for projects comes from a variety of sources, including Federal, State, and County funds and various grants. Services performed must be in compliance with applicable Federal, State, County and local laws, rules and regulations and building code requirements. Questions about the RFP may be submitted in writing by e-mail to vspina@co.westmoreland.pa.us and must be received no later than Noon on Friday, December 29, 2023 to be considered for answer and possible inclusion in an addendum. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to permit the County to evaluate qualified and licensed architectural and engineering firms and/or individuals to provide various professional architectural and engineering services on an as needed basis. The County intends to enter into a non-exclusive Agreement with the firm(s) or individuals deemed most qualified to successfully provide these services for one (1) year with the option of renewal for up to two (2) additional one-year terms on a year-to-year basis at the mutual agreement of both parties. Multiple contracts may be awarded. The County reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals in the best interest of the County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
