Demolition, site work and renovation of an educational facility in Pendleton, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 40,000-square-foot educational facility; for the renovation of a 52,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of August 14, 2025, architect and general contractor have been identified. Construction began mid-2025 and completion expected late 2026 or early 2027. Originally constructed in 1963, the previous 42,000 square-foot building is being replaced with a modern, two-story, 52,000 square-foot facility designed to support the college’s evolving academic mission. Project includes demolition of existing 40,000SF single story academic building (Pickens Hall) and a portion of adjacent building (student Center). The new building will comprise of classrooms, labs, offices and student spaces. Building will achieve a minimum of 2 green globes. Project scope will comprise of significant site work, hardscaping and landscaping. LICENSURE: To be considered for selection, persons or firms must be properly licensed in accordance with the requirements of Title 40 of the SC Code of Laws, as amended at the time of resume submission.
