El Paso County has identified a failing corrugated metal pipe (CMP) beneath Yucatan Drive and at least 20 south of inlet SW-IL-466 (see attached map). From inlet SW-IL-466, the pipe runs approximately 330 southward beneath the open field. The pipe transitions from CMP to reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) at an unknown location between inlets SW-IL-466 and SW-IL-465. EPC anticipates needing to replace this entire segment with RCP. Given the age of the pipe there are no plans available to show the exact alignment but is believed to follow the path depicted on the attached map.
