As of December 29, 2023 this project was awarded to Royce Industries, LLC., awarded amount of $149,819.31. Sealed Bids for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and services required for the performance of the Work specified by Las Vegas Valley Water District (Owner) in this Contract entitled Tropical and Montessouri Wash Bay Equipment. The proposed Work is generally described as follows: The Site of the Work will occur at the following two (2) District owned facilities within the vehicle wash bays and supporting mechanical rooms as depicted in the Contract Drawings. Site 1: Montessouri Satellite Facility. Located at 7215 Montessouri Street, Las Vegas, Nevada 89113. Site 2: Tropical Satellite Facility. Located at 8027 West Tropical Parkway, Las Vegas, Nevada 89149. At each site the Work shall consist of demolition, removal, and disposal of existing equipment and supporting appurtenances; installation of a new pressure washer, water reclaimer, reclaim water storage tank, pressure washer controllers, pressure washer hose reels and pressure washing wands, and all supporting piping, valves, and control equipment. The Owner requires the Project commence within 30 consecutive Calendar Days after the effective date of the Final Notice to Proceed and the Project be completed within 180 consecutive Calendar Days after the effective date of the Limited Notice to Proceed. The Work is a Public Works Project as defined by Chapter 338 of the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) and all Bidders are required to comply with, and the Contract shall be awarded and administered in accordance with, the laws contained in that chapter. Bidders are hereby notified that the prevailing wage rates established by the Nevada State Labor Commission must be paid to all workmen engaged in the performance of any public works construction contracts awarded for the amount of $100,000 or more. Current wage rates and addenda for Clark County are available electronically and are hereby incorporated into the Contract Documents by reference. It is the Contractor's responsibility to recheck for amendments prior to preparing the final Bidding Documents. This project has a designated Public Works Project Identifying Number by the Nevada State Labor Commission and all correspondence forwarded to the Nevada State Labor Commission shall reference this identifying number. Bids must be in accordance with the Contract Documents on file with the Purchasing Division, Las Vegas Valley Water District, 1001 South Valley View Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89153. Pursuant to NRS 624.700, Bidders and all their Subcontractors must be properly licensed Contractors in the State of Nevada for the scope of work proposed. Attendance at a pre-Bid conference, as specified in the Instructions to Bidders, is mandatory. Bidders are encouraged to read the Contract Documents before the pre-Bid conference to obtain a good understanding of the Work. Among other things, various aspects of the Work and some Contract provisions, including recent changes to standard Contract provisions, will be described. Comments and questions from potential Bidders are encouraged. Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security as described in Document 00 21 13, Instructions to Bidders and must accompany each Bid. The Contractor will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract in accordance with Chapter 339 of the NRS. The Contractor and all Subcontractors will be required to provide insurance as set forth in the Contract Documents. This insurance shall include coverage required by NRS 616 (Industrial Insurance) and NRS 617 (Occupational Diseases). The requirements of NRS 612 (Unemployment Compensation) are also in effect. Pursuant to NRS 338.143, the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including, without limitation, the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder. The Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities. Bids will be evaluated as prescribed by the Contract Documents and Nevada State law. Question Deadline 12/07/2023 at 10:00 AM PT. Submit questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents and Contract Documents to Owner via electronically. The electronic portal will cut off accepting questions 5 Days prior to the Bid opening date. Questions submitted less than 5 Days prior to the Bid opening date may not be answered. Questions received, responses thereto, and interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to questions received will be answered through electronically. When responding to questions, Owner will issue Addenda when Owner deems it necessary. Only answers to questions submitted in electronically or issued by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. For electronic portal procedural or technical related questions, contact the Bid Contact identified electronically. Procedural or technical questions related to the electronic portal will not be responded to by Addenda. Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to read the Contract Documents before the pre-Bid conference to obtain a good understanding of the Work and to attend and participate in the conference. An electronic portal tutorial will be provided during the pre-Bid conference. In response to questions arising at the conference, Owner will issue Addenda as Owner considers necessary. A certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond, obtained from a financially responsible and reliable bank or surety, accompanying the Bid payable, without condition to the Owner in an amount of 5 percent of the Bidder's Total Bid Price as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement, and provide the necessary bonds, insurance certificates, and other required documentation. The Contractor shall furnish with the executed Agreements, a Construction Performance and Payment Bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for faithful performance and payment of all the Contractor obligations under the Contract Documents, pursuant to NRS 339.
