The City of Mountain View (City), incorporated in 1902, is a full-service charter city with a City Council/City Manager form of government and over 680 regular positions representing 14 departments. It is a municipal corporation of the State, located in Santa Clara County, California. The City is just over 12 square miles with a population of approximately 83,600 and has a General Operating Fund budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24 of approximately $172.7 million. The project scope includes transit prioritization, a bikeway gap closure, pedestrian improvements, and vehicle speed management strategies. The City is seeking a qualified planning consulting firm to assist in the development of a Precise Plan for the Moffett Boulevard Project Area and potentially including additional properties adjacent to and north of the Moffett Boulevard Project Area. The firm will also manage the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for this Precise Plan. The City reserves the right to obtain clarification of any point in a Proposer's submittal or to obtain additional information necessary to properly evaluate a particular response. Failure of a Proposer to respond to such a request for additional information or clarification may result in rejection of the Proposer's proposal. A preproposal conference will NOT be held.
