The removal of approximately 65 LF of sheet pile weir, construction of replacement gabion block weir consisting of approximately one-hundred and thirty-two (132) 3'x3'x3' gabion blocks, 190 CY of heavy riprap, erosion control, seeding and mulching. All bids rejected. All of the work is located in the Town of La Valle, Sauk County, Wisconsin. The work shall be in accordance with the plans thereof and shall be executed under the requirements of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Division of Highways Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, Current Edition, the attached supplemental specifications, and these special provisions. The contractor awarded the project must have this book on site and must understand its contents. All references to the State of Wisconsin or Highway Commission within the Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction shall mean the Lake Redstone Protection District or the Engineer.
