Furnishing 2024 Requirements of Portland Cement Concrete The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to re- advertise or to accept the proposal, that in their opinion, is in the best interest of Tuscola County. MIXES: The Engineer may request a change of slump at the time the material is ordered or placed at no additional cost. The Engineer also reserves the right to verify the compressive strength of the mixes specified; if test results indicated lower strength than required per the specifications it will be sufficient reason for rejecting further use of the supplier's concrete. If the Engineer requests additional Cement for a higher strength mix it will be paid for by the pound.
