The Contractor proposes to furnish 22A, or 23A, dense graded aggregate meeting the specifications as stated in the MDOT 2012 Standards Specification for Construction. The amount of material requested will be on an as needed basis for the 2024 construction season. The Road Commission reserves the right to request a mechanical analysis report for each type of gravel produced at each pit (ifthe pit is not a MDOT Certificated Source). Whenever possible the crushed gravel is to be properly stockpiled at the locations listed below. An additional flat loading charge often cents (10 cents) per ton or fifteen cents (15 cents) per yard will be billed to the Road Commission for loading oftrucks, if our equipment is not available. However, no charge will be made for loading "offthe belt". The price quoted covers all costs of producing the specified materials. Any variation from the specifications ofthe project herein without written approval from the Tuscola County Road Commission and/or its authorized representative may result in, at the discretion ofthe Road Commission, the voiding and/or canceling ofthe acceptance of any bid and/or contract, resulting from this project The Road Commission will accept new sources ofmaterial throughout the year, as they become available. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to readvertise or to accept the proposal that, in their opinion, is in the best interest of Tuscola County.
