Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Saint-Jerome, Quebec. Design plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 63,125-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade, 25-room educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Construction of a new building for the replacement of the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l'Enfant-Jésus elementary school. The new school will house 25 classrooms, a library, a kitchen, two gymnasia, a teachers' room, administrative offices, non-teaching staff offices, as well as required rooms for electrical and mechanical equipment. The scope of the project also includes the demolition of the existing building and required landscaping work following the demolition. TIMELINE: Project design is ongoing. Working drawings are expected to begin in summer 2026. According to the owner's scheduling a tender for the general contractor will be issued late 2026. Notes: - The project is included in the list of major project of the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat under the number 707. - Following the public tender 25380-057/20101835 the owner has awarded the firm Forage Metropolitain for the completion of geothermal test well drilling and soil thermal conductivity testing for the project implementation. - Following the contract agreement CGGSP-25-26-049 /20122664 the owner has awarded the firm CIMA+ for the completion of geotechnical and environmental studies for the project implementation.
