Invitation to Bid County of Volusia, Public Works/Road & Bridge The County of Volusia, Public Works/Road & Bridge, invites sealed bids for the construction of Main Street Bridge Counterweight Metalizing located at Main Street Bridge, Daytona Beach, Florida. Bid Requirements: A Bid bond must accompany each Bid, amounting to not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid amount. The Bid bond shall remain valid for a period of not less than one hundred twenty (120) days. The Bidder shall utilize the Bid bond form provided in this solicitation. Upon execution of a written Contract between the County and the successful Bidder, and upon the successful Bidder recording acceptable performance and payment bonds, or if one hundred twenty (120) days have passed since the formal opening of the Bids without the awarding of a Contract, the Bid security of any Bidder will be returned upon written demand.
