Renovation of a residential development in Shortsville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 120 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Roof Replacement, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove the existing asphalt shingle roofing system complete down to the existing wood decking. Any damaged decking will be quoted and result in a change order. 2. Provide and install a new 30-year asphalt shingle roofing system complete, including all flashings, underlayment's, ice barriers, venting, accessories, and other roofing materials as required for a complete system. 3. Remove and replace exhaust vent covers as per existing, typical. Exhaust vents must be installed to go above the roof line per code requirements 4. Remove and replace drip edge at all eaves and gables, typical. 5. Flash all penetrations, typical. 6. Remove and replace ridge vents on all ridges, typical. Verify soffits are continuous vented along eave line everywhere. Venting is required for roof systems over conditioned spaces. 7. No asbestos-containing materials may be used Contract term: 30 days after completion of project Location: 50 W Main St, Shortsville, NY 14548 The Agency reserves the right to make awards within (90) days or such longer period as shall be specified in the RFQ documents after the date of the RFQ deadline, during which period quotes shall not be withdrawn unless the bidder distinctly states in the quote that acceptance thereof must be made within a shorter specified time. If, however, an award is not affected within the ninety (90) day period, a quote shall remain firm until such later time as either a contract is awarded by the State or the contractor delivered to the Agency written notice of the withdrawal of the quote. This is a NYS Public Works Project; prevailing wages must be paid.
