Reference Number 0000260917 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/01/03 01:00:00 PM EST The Township of South Glengarry invites Proposals from experienced firms to prepare a 2024 Road Needs Study Report which will provide the Township with the results of an inventory condition assessment for the municipal road infrastructure, along with a 3-year and 10-year capital improvement plan. South Glengarry is a rural community in Eastern Ontario, with a population of approximately 13,000 residents and 5,300 residential homes, encompassing an area of 605 square kilometres. South Glengarry is among the larger municipalities in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry. The existing road network is a low-volume rural road system that consists of approximately 385 kilometres of roadway. This consists of 165 kilometers asphalt roads, 70 kilometres of high-float surface treatment roads, and 150 kilometers of gravel road. The roads are classified as Collector, Rural Local, and Urban Local. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
