Remodeling of a municipal facility in Palos Heights, Illinois. Working plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
As of March 5, 2024, bids was rejected, no information for rebid. This project includes: concrete demolition and new slab, concrete masonry partitions, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, drywall partitions, carpeting, LVT, floor and wall tile, casework and countertops, toilet partitions, plumbing fixtures, HVAC modifications, lighting, switchgear, low voltage. Prospective bidder may choose to purchase hard copies of the Bidding Documents from the City of Palos Heights. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to City of Palos Heights in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and shall submit certified payroll records, in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and shall comply with all applicable Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before December 31, 2024 for liquidated damages, and final completion on or before February 28, 2025. The Project consists of the construction of an interior remodeling.
