Install 8 high-definition power over ethernet (POE) PZT security cameras in the Camera Locations Detail PoP: 12/28/2023 - 05/30/2024 Estimated Range $25,000-$100,000 Installation of cameras a. Install 8 high-definition power over ethernet (POE) PZT security cameras in the "Camera Locations Detail" section in this document. i. Outdoor locations require outdoor rated cameras. ii. For bidding purposes, factor in plus or minus 20 feet shift in indicated location for cameras to account for field adjustments. iii. The cameras must be listed on the CAVSS list provided in the appendix. iv. The cameras must include all power supply boosters and software licenses required to connect to the existing camera network and function properly. Note: CAVSS list indicates where Vicon license is required. v. The contractor shall wire the new camera cables up to the existing NVR patch panel in the IT/Server room. The actual connection will be performed by others. vi. The contractor shall leave sufficient cable for the Government to connect the cables to the existing patch panel. vii. The final connection and commissioning to the patch panel will be made via a separate contract to the DHS authorized vendor. viii. Special attention shall be paid to minimize the impact to the new canopy. b. Conduit for cameras i. The contractor is responsible for providing all the required conduit for the new camera installation. ii. For exterior cable runs, the contractor shall use electrical metallic tubing (EMT) with compression fittings except in areas not permitted by code or regulation. iii. For interior cable runs the contractor shall use surface mounted raceway except in spaces that already use EMT. 1. See section 2. "Replacement of temporary wiring" below for surface mounted raceway requirements. iv. The type and installation of the conduit and raceway must be in compliance with National Electric Code and the GSA P-100. v. Existing conduit may be reused if it is in compliance with the electrical code and other applicable regulations. The COR must field approve the reuse of existing conduit. vi. Minimize the use of surface mounted conduit especially on the new canopy *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
