The Ministry of Highways (MoH) requires a consultant to provide engineering services for the functional design of the Highway 10 corridor through Fort Qu'Appelle. The goal of the study is to assess design alternatives to improve intersection safety and corridor capacity. The services include but are not limited to functional design options of intersection treatments along Highway 10, identification of long-term treatments at the Junction such as a roundabout or signalization at the Junction of Highway 10 and Highway 35, and to prepare a functional design of the preferred solution. The functional design needs to consider existing constraints, future developments and traffic growth, as well as how access will be provided to existing and future developments. Stakeholder consultation with the Town of Fort Qu'Appelle and area developers will be required to understand existing and future land uses and needs. Category of Work: Transportation Planning Prequalified Consultants being held in a probationary status at time of competition close and evaluation, should reference the Professional Services Procurement Manual - PSPM 100-04 for additional information pertaining to their eligibility to participate in this competition.
