The City of Tullahoma, Tennessee, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to retain the services of a professional design/build engineering and construction firm to provide services related to development and construction of amenities in the existing Johnson Lane Recreation Area at 100 Fairlane Drive (soccer side). This selection is for a restroom, concession stand, and pavilion facility that may include several different phases of design and construction. Responsibilities of the professional design/build engineering firm include, but are not limited to: - Provide field survey services of the project area.
- Provide engineering design/build services to include landscape architecture and construction documents for the construction of the project.
- Obtain necessary permits.
- Prepare any Utility and Right of Way (ROW) documents as necessary.
- Perform Construction and site administration services during construction.
- Any other services needed to complete the design and construction of the project.
Contractor will be required to provide a "Little Miller Act" labor and material payment bond or alternate security, as provided in T.C.A. 12-4-201 et seq. equal to a minimum of 25% of the
contract price if its proposal is accepted by Owner. Owner, at its option, may require Contractor to provide 100% performance and payment bonds and, by submitting a proposal and the bid bond required herein, Contractor and its surety on the bid bond agree that Contractor will, if requested, provide said bonds. All subcontractors will be required to provide performance and payment bonds unless otherwise agreed to by Owner and Contractor. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularity or defect in any submission, request clarification or additional information regarding Proposals, to cancel this RFP, and to reject any
and all Proposals at its sole discretion. The City shall assume no liability for expenses incurred by a Bidder in replying to this RFP.
