The Town of Weare, NH, requests interested engineering firms to submit qualification statements for engineering study, preliminary design, final design, bid phase services, and engineer of record services for the River Road Bridge (#110/150) over the Piscataquog River, State Project #14338. The purpose of this project is to replace the River Road Bridge (#110/150) in the Town of Weare. Firms listed on the NHDOT LPA Pre-Qualified Preliminary Engineering Firm list are invited to provide a qualification statement which includes the following information: o Company overview o Resumes of key staff o Consultants who may be used o Experience with similar projects including geotechnical analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, bridge design, roadway design, utility coordination, environmental policy act (NEPA) compliance, and ROW acquisition o NHDOT LPA certification o Experience with State and Federally funded projects o Availability to perform the work within the desired timeframe o References A technical proposal including project understanding and project approach is not required at this time and will not be reviewed if submitted. A shortlist of firms will be developed, and those firms will be interviewed. The Town will rank firms based on qualifications and past experience only. The Town of Weare intends to proceed under the NHDOT LPA program with funds approved by the Town, State, and Federal governments. Design is to be completed by August 2025.
