Washington County of Utah seeks to obtain proposals from qualified industry experts that can provide construction services to construct the trails of approximately fifteen (15) miles of natural surface singletrack recreation trails for mountain biking, adaptive cycling, hiking, and trail running at the Spring Hollow Trail System. The Washington County reserves the right to discard documents submitted by a Bidder that are not required by the RFP and do not contain Bidder supplied information. Bids that do not contain the information requested may be rejected as non-responsive. This meeting is intended to clarify the project as needed for prospective bidders and help ensure that project expectations are understood. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory. A company representative must be present at the meeting, and have signed in on the Owner's attendance sheet, or bid proposal will not be accepted into the evaluation process. Vehicles equipped with fourwheel drive and high clearance are recommended. Attendees should be prepared for off trail hiking through rough terrain, and heavy brush. Attendees should bring adequate water, food, boots, clothing, sunblock, navigation gear, and any other equipment that they personally require for hiking in an arid high desert environment at extremes of weather and temperatures for up to 8 hours.
