Renovation of a water / sewer project in Mazon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Description The Village of Mazon is requesting proposals for the replacement of sand filter media in their two existing sand filters. These filters are 110' long by 45' wide by 3'9" deep. This project will be completed on a lump sum basis. Bid Security is not required for this project. This Proposal will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the opening. Bidder will sign the Proposal and Owner will sign upon acceptance. This project shall be complete by May 31, 2024. Payment shall be made upon completion of the Work. The chosen contractor will be responsible for all work associated with this task. Contractor shall provide the Owner with a Certificate of Insurance which includes a $1,000,000 Umbrella Policy prior to the commencement of work. The Owner and Chamlin & Associates, Inc. shall be named as additional, primary insured. Workers are to be fully covered by the Contractor for workers' compensation insurance. Owner to carry fire and other necessary insurance. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices.
