2024 Sanitary Sewer Smoke Testing Tributaries of South Wastewater Pump Station. The deadline for questions. If required, a written response in the form of an addendum will be issued. No contact with the Water Utility Department shall be made during the bid process. Questions asked after the deadline are not guaranteed a response. bid bond signed by a surety company authorized to do business in Illinois, a cashier's check or a certified check. For construction projects the bid deposit shall be in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount of the bid. The City of Naperville is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors to supply labor, equipment, supplies and material associated with the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Smoke Testing Tributaries of South Wastewater Pump Station project. The work generally includes smoke testing of approximately 44,358 linear feet of existing 4 through 27 diameter sanitary sewer pipelines in 2024. The Contractor shall have successfully completed at least three smoke testing projects of a size and scope comparable to this project. These projects shall have been completed in municipal sanitary sewer systems. City as liquidated damages, it being now agreed that said sum is a fair estimate of the amount of damages that said City will sustain due to the bidder's failure to furnish said bonds. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any nonconformity in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interests of the City.
