Site work and new construction of a residential development in Kenora, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,751-square-foot, one-story above grade, five-bed residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
1- Kenora District Services Board (KDSB) is the owner of the vacant lands legally described as Part of PIN 42173-0138, Parcel 27808, Lot 38 and 39 Plan M341, unofficially referred to as 35 Drewry Drive in Kenora, ON. 2- KDSB has partnered with Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services (AAFS) (the Owner) to develop a new Group Home to support Indigenous youth in the community. Prior to the project commencing, KDSB shall transfer ownership of the lands to AAFS. 3- AAFS has engaged Nelson Architecture (the Consultant) to provide design and contract administration services for the project. 4- AAFS is seeking to engage a Contractor with a proven track record to act as the Construction Manager, who shall work collaboratively on the design and be responsible for the construction of the new facility. 5- Any contract(s) resulting from this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall include construction manager services and construction services as outlined in this RFP, including a wide range of sub-trades, materials, labour, equipment, transportation, accommodations, permitting, and other work required for the turn-key development Documents can be obtained at https://kdsb.bidsandtenders.ca/ Question Deadline 01/23/2024 at 4:00 p.m. CST
