Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Clare, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
All bidders are required to furnish Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Base Bid. Form of the security may be a bid bond, certified or cashier's check made payable to Clare Gladwin RESD. Clare Gladwin RESD will not be responsible for loss of security made by check; checks will not be returned until a contract has been fully executed with the successful bidder. This will be a guarantee that the bidder selected by Clare Gladwin RESD will furnish the required PLM Bonds; failure to do so could mean forfeiture of the Bid Security. All bidders must indicate, where shown on the Proposal Form, the cost of Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds covering 100% of the value of the Project. Do not include the cost of the Bonds in the Base Bid. Anticipated award of contract - February 15, 2024 Anticipated start of construction - April 1, 2024 Anticipated substantial completion - May 30, 2025
