The scope of work consists of the replacement of approximately 1,572 L.F. of six-inch (6 ) ASTM 2241 SDR-17 PVC water main and 850 L.F. of two-inch (2 ) diameter water main, service line, meters, fittings, hydrants, blow-off valves and all appurtenances for a complete installation as shown on the Plans and as specified. The project also consists of the replacement of miscellaneous appurtenances that include blow-offs, fire hydrants, gate valves and pressure reducing valves The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
