Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Leslie, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Purpose of This Project is to Realign Hwy. 66 in Searcy County. This Project Consists of Clearing and Grubbing, Removal and Disposal Items, Earthwork, Aggregate Base Course, Portland Cement Concrete Base, Achm Binder and Surface Courses, Cold Milling Asphalt Pavement, Achm Patching of Existing Roadway, Approach Slabs, Portland Cement Concrete Driveway, Maintenance of Traffic, Concrete Ditch Paving, Minor Drainage, Erosion Control, Concrete Walks, Hand Railing, Concrete Curb and Gutter, Wheelchair Ramps, Pavement Markings, Utility Items, Polymer Overlay, Construct One Bridge Consisting of Continous R.c. Slab Unit (140') and Continous W-beam Unit (140') and Misc. Items Routes: 66 Sections: 1 County: Searcy Length: 0.126 mile in length. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Complete This Contract Withing Six Hundred Forty (640) Calendar Days. Question Deadline 10/29/2025 - Questions pertaining to projects during the advertisement period should be addressed to the Program Management Division at pmd@ardot.gov. The deadline to submit a question is the Wednesday prior to the scheduled letting date. A question submitted after the close of business on the Wednesday prior to the scheduled letting date may not receive a response. In order to have a bid considered, contractors must furnish a proposal guaranty consisting of either a bidder's bond or a certified or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. In order for a bond to be acceptable to the Department, the company issuing the bond must be named in the Department of Treasury Listing of companies holding Certificates of Authority as acceptable sureties on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies. The Underwriting Limitation of the bonding company shall be adhered to. Any excess (between the face amount of the Bond and the Underwriting Limitation) shall be protected by reinsurance provided by an acceptable reinsuring company. These contracts are subject to normal prequalification, licensing and bonding requirements, applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other Federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) complies with all civil rights provisions of federal statutes and related authorities that prohibit discrimination in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.
