The existing structure is a 72" diameter corrugated metal pipe that was lined with a 57" diameter HDPE insert. The new structure will be an 80'-0" long precast reinforced concrete pipe culvert with an opening diameter of 78". The proposed typical section includes two 11'-0" lanes and shoulder widths that vary between 1'-0" and 2'-8". The project includes approximately 120 feet of roadway reconstruction and paving, placement of traffic barriers, signing, and pavement markings, removal of the existing structure, and final landscaping of the project site. The road will be closed and traffic will be detoured during construction. There is no incentive/disincentive clause for this project. Pre Bid Conference: A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held for this contract. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00.
