Renovation of a medical facility in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. Design plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Complete replacement of the existing heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. Scope of work is anticipated to include the following: Removal of old air handling unit, electric heating, condensing units and team humidification. Assessment and modifications to electrical distribution and panel boards to accommodate new systems. Temporary HVAC during equipment replacement to keep PCH operational. Work necessary to create access for removal and replacement of equipment in a congested mechanical room. New controls that interface with existing Johnson controls Metasys BMS. New AHU, filtration, condensing units, steam humidification, exhaust fan, controls. ACM material may be present in the existing insulation, design to include specifications for safe handling of ACMs. TIMELINE: An RFP for design services has been awarded.
