Renovation of a fire / police facility in West Jefferson, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

General description of work to be performed (see drawings and specifications) Base Bid o The general contractor shall remove the existing windows in the sergeant's office o Furnish and install new windows o Repair wall in insulate as required o Frame and install insulation above the lobby area to seal off from the outside conditions field verify extent of work prior to bid o Insulate the exterior wall above the ceiling and below the deck o Replace any stained ceiling tiles in the community room with new tiles. Match existing ceiling tiles o Frame and insulate wall w/minimum of R-19 roam insulation relocate receptacles to new framed wall as required o Furnish and install cap and wall base to match existing finishes o Furnish and install new insulated glass and frames o Remove existing glass and mullion and prepare opening for five new panes as shown in detail o Existing wall material to remain Alternates 1: Replace (3) existing furnaces and CUs 2: Correct Intake and Exhaust piping to (3) existing furnaces 3: Replace condensate drain on Furnace #3 4: Install secondary drain pans under (3) existing furnaces 5: Relocate hot water return piping The EDGE Participation Goal for the Project is 5.0 percent. EDGE is required for bids exceeding $50,000. Participation should include 5% of the full bid amount including labor and materials. EDGE vendors can include labor and material suppliers. o Prevailing Wage rates are required for any state project that exceeds $75,000. The time for Substantial Completion of all Work is 120 consecutive days from the Commencement Date in the Notice to Proceed.
