Site work for a water / sewer project in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Mt. Sterling Water and Sewer (MSWS) is accepting Labor bids related to a water and sewer main replacement project serving Main Street Mt. Sterling, Kentucky from Maysville Road to Queen Street. This project consists of an estimated 965 feet of 12", 60 feet of 8" and 127 feet of 6" water main. MSWS will supply all piping, fittings, and accessories. Our utility contact for this project is Christopher Pesut, who can be reached by contacting the Mt. Sterling number listed above. Each bid, in order to be considered valid, must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid. The bidder awarded the contract shall supply a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond at the time contract documents are signed, both no less than the total value of the bid submitted. In addition, the successful bidder will be required to provide proof of both liability and worker's compensation insurance, as well as name the City of Mt. Sterling and Mt. Sterling Water and Sewer as an additional insured. This contract shall be completed within 120 days of a Notice to Proceed being issued. Liquidated damages in the amount of $250.00/day will be assessed should this project extend beyond the contract timeframe. Mt. Sterling reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted.
