Renovation of a fire / police facility in Barre, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The City of Barre, Vermont is soliciting bids for the installation of a HVAC (boilers and controls) in the Public Safety Building (PSB) located at 15 Fourth Street. The PSB is a two story masonry building built in 2005-6 which houses the Fire & Emergency Medical Services and Police Departments, the dispatch control room, and Fire Department living quarters. The City of Barre, Vermont invites qualified HVAC contractors to provide a bid to replace the current (installed 2006) heating system with new, energy efficient hot water boilers. The proposal should include multiple zones as per the current system. This property is owned by the City of Barre. The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, services, insurance, notifications, permits, and licenses/certificates.
