Invitation for Bid (IFB) to cover the requirements of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Traffic Control Modules. The contract(s) resulting from this solicitation will be mandatory for Caltrans and available for use by participating local agencies. Caltrans service agreements and/or public works contracts that include, in part, the furnishing and installation of Traffic Control Modules as a facet of the project, is acceptable and is not a violation of a resulting statewide mandatory contract. The term of any contract resulting from this solicitation will be for two (2) years. The contract will contain three (3) extension options for one (1) year or portion thereof. If a mutual agreement for a contract extension cannot be met, the contract will expire at the end of the current contract term.
