The Sacramento City Unified School District is seeking bids for qualified Contractors to provide construction services for the Luther Burbank HS New Softball Field and Baseball Field Improvements project. Licenses: A General Engineering and/or B General Building Contractor. Engineer's estimate is $6,000,000. SCUSD is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Questions not received by January 12, 2024 by 10:00 a.m. may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The Project consists of but not limited to: o Demolition of existing varsity baseball and softball fields. Work to include but not limited to demolition of irrigation, landscaping, existing dugout structures, concrete, fencing, netting, and foundations in their entirety. o Site work scope of work shall include rough grading, installation of irrigation, underground utility lines including domestic water, electrical, and low voltage conduit. o Construction of new varsity baseball field & varsity softball field including fields, backstop,dugouts, bullpens, & batting cages. o Installation of (3) 5 row bleachers at both varsity baseball and varsity softball fields o New tennis courts at new location o Site work related to all paving areas along accessible path of travel. o New pc-scoreboard at each field location o New pc-shade structures at each new and existing batting cages. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Sacramento City Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
