Marginal St. Stabilization Deadline for Written Inquiries 12/22/2023 The Responder is responsible for confirming receipt of written inquiries with Dragica Ivanis, Chief Procurement Officer, and City of Chelsea at divanis@chelseama.gov The project site is located along 215 Marginal Street in Chelsea, MA 02150. Significant coastal erosion has undermined approximately 300 fee of sidewalk. The public sidewalk is in need of emergency repairs to ensure safe pedestrian travel. The following repairs will be considered to be a temporary stabilization and are expected to serve the site for approximately 2 to 3 years. In addition to sidewalk repair, granite blocks that exist on the site will be relocated to buttress the bulkhead for additional stability. The bulkhead and access routes are located on private property owned by 215 Marginal St LLC. The City has obtained permission for the owner for the successful bidder to access the site for this work.
