Purpose of the contract The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders to obtain professional building envelope expertise services for the inspection of a group of buildings. The purpose of these assessments will be to implement the provisions of the Building chapter of the Safety Code (CBCS), in order to issue an inspection report which certifies the safety nature of the facades of the buildings covered by this call for tenders. The Bidder must provide, in accordance with the Contract Documents, professional services which may include, but are not limited to, inspecting the facades of 20 high-rise buildings, providing reports and issuing safety certificates. The OMHM is continuing its 2nd inspection cycle of its stock of buildings of five (5) floors or more. The majority of buildings covered by this call for tenders have already been the subject of corrective work and these inspections will aim to ensure the safety and sustainability of the buildings. The scope of the work is described in the estimate and the bidder must refer to it to understand the extent of its obligations . 2. Duration of the contract 2.1 Subject to the conditions mentioned in the tender documents, the contract covers the period from April 1 , 2024 to November 10, 2024 .
