Reference Number 0000260897 Question Acceptance Deadline Jan 09, 2024 02:00 PM EST 1Work of this Contract comprises the removal and replacement of isolation and drain valves on the domestic water risers and installation of new backflow preventer at the water entry point located at 170 Tunney's Pasture Drive in Ottawa; and further identified as the Jean Talon Building. 2Provide adequate potable water supply for duration period when the building potable water system is offline and during the waiting period for the results of the potable water test. 3Erect hoarding and/or signage in areas affected by construction. .4Arrange for fire alarm bypasses for hot-work activities (as required). 5Flush and clean all new potable water lines. .6Perform potable water quality tests and confirm acceptable water quality before bringing the system online. .7Conduct backflow preventer testing and submit report. .8Insulate and apply jacketing to all new piping. .9 Identify all domestic water lines and apply tags to each valve. Update BGIS valve schedule. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
