Alberici Constructors is requesting Bid Proposals for subcontractor work related to the Saint Louis Zoo Wild Care Park . The proposals being requested are for the construction of the Giraffe and Rhinoceros barns. Bidders should note that this project has Prevailing Wage Requirements and is tax exempt. All technical, schedule or operational questions should be addressed to Alberici as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Supply all necessary labor, materials, supervision, applicable taxes, insurance, equipment, placing, hoisting, scaffolding, protection, transportation, permits (general building permit to be provided by the owner), licenses and fees necessary to perform and complete the work specified below: Furnish and install all layout, hand-work, excavation, back-fill, compaction, concrete, concrete forming, reinforcing, expansion joints, insulation, sealants, winter weather protection, and all other required components to provide a complete structural concrete footing/ foundation system as indicated in the construction documents. Furnish and install all layout, vapor-barrier, handwork, perimeter insulation, wire mesh, compacted rock sub-grade, concrete, edge-forms, winter weather protection, expansion joints, control joints, saw-cutting, caulking, finishing, and all other required components to provide a complete concrete slab-on-grade as indicated in the construction documents. All requests and questions will be received until 5 business days before the opening of bids. After that time, no requests for clarifications or questions will be accepted.
