The County is seeking proposals for the installation and development of up to 4 test wells to evaluate sites in preparation for a new municipal well in the community of Coulterville. Work includes: Project Management, Test Well Construction, Geologic & Hydrologic Reporting, Water Sampling & Analysis, a 10-day Well Capacity Test, and future well construction once the site is established. The Contractor shall be responsible for project management activities throughout the life of the contract and the scope of activities includes but is not limited to, coordinating and being responsible for scheduling meetings, managing the project schedule, preparing, and distributing minutes, field reviews and walking the sites, tracking action items for the County and subcontractors, and preparing all submissions for the County. Any modifications proposed to this solicitation are welcome provided they are innovative, advanced, and well thought out methodologies and shall be identified as optional and priced out separately in the sealed fee proposal. The County of Mariposa is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide Well Construction Services to facilitate the Coulterville Water Project. The selected Contractor must agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the County, its officers, agents and assigns from any liability or loss resulting from suits, claims, or actions brought against the County which result directly or indirectly from the wrongful or negligent actions of the consultant in the performance of the contract. The selected firm will be required to comply with all existing State and Federal labor laws including the applicable to equal opportunity employment provisions. The County reserves the right to negotiate special requirements and proposed service levels using the selected proposal as a basis. Compensation for services will be negotiated with the selected Contractor. All responses to this RFP shall become the property of the County of Mariposa and will be retained or disposed of accordingly. No amendments, additions or alternates shall be accepted after the submission date and time. All documents, records, designs and specifications developed by the selected Contractor in the course of providing services for the Mariposa County shall be the property of the County. Anything considered to be proprietary should be so designated by the firm. Acceptance by the County of any proposal submitted pursuant to this RFP shall not constitute any implied intent to enter into a contract for services.
