On August 20, Tropical Storm Hilary brought unprecedented rain and debris to the Coachella Valley. The City of Palm Desert is seeking qualified vendors to remove debris and perform repairs to emerging issues to the city's storm conveyance infrastructure. The City will issue Task Orders to qualified vendors selected by this RFP process and will award projects based on lowest, responsive estimates. The City seeks to enter into agreements with one or more contractors to accomplish the Scope of Services. During the contract term, the City will contact the Contractor to request assessments of City infrastructure, make recommendations, and perform work. Work will be issued through Task Orders. Last Day to Submit Questions for Clarification:December 27, 2023, 12:00pm All questions, requests for interpretations or clarifications, either administrative or technical must be requested in writing VIA THE "Q&A" tab through the City's online bid management provider Unless otherwise provided in the Instructions for Bidders, each Bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to sections 7000 et seq. of the Business and Professions Code in the following classification(s) throughout the time it submits its Bid and for the duration of the Contract: Class A or any combination of Class C Contractor licenses needed to complete the requires tasks.
