Yolo County Housing (YCH) requests proposals from property owners and developers for the Project Based Voucher (PBV) Program. Project based applications are being accepted for new construction and rehabilitation projects. Pre-proposal Conference: No Two (2) copies of the proposal submittal (one original signature + 1 exact copies, including extending tabs), submitted in a sealed package, properly addressed and tabbed and or electronic applications will also be accepted via email to procure.submittal@ych.ca.gov. All financing of project costs and operating expenses will be the responsibility of the owner. A housing unit will be considered a new construction unit if construction has not started at the time of selection and/or prior to entering into the Agreement for Housing Assistance Payment (AHAP) contract. All financing and operating expenses will be the responsibility of the owner. YCH estimates that up to 40 project-based vouchers may be available under this RFP for the purpose of creating and/or expanding permanent, affordable housing to very low and extremely low-income families. YCH reserves the right to reject and not consider any proposal that does not meet the requirements of this RFP, including but not necessarily limited to incomplete proposals and/or proposals offering alternate or non-requested services. YCH shall have no obligation to compensate any applicant for any costs incurred in responding to this RFP. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
