Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) is seeking a Contractor to provide demolition / grading / access road construction modifications to the Kearney Tech1 Temporary 115kV substation located near Kearney, Nebraska. The CONTRACTOR shall supply all labor, supervision, miscellaneous materials, tools, and equipment for performing modifications to the DISTRICT'S Kearney Tech1 temporary 115kV substation located near Kearney, Nebraska in accordance with the Contract drawings and Construction Standards included in ATTACHMENT B. The work scope involves the removal and disposal of fencings, ground grid, foundations, conduit, below grade concrete man-hole, relocation of existing substation rock and dirt, along with the grading and construction of a new access road to adjacent substation site. General description of the work being performed is as follows: Remove fencing and fencing foundations. CONTRACTOR responsible for disposal. Scrape up existing crushed limestone substation rock and pile at location directed by the DISTRICT. Rock to be used later in construction of new access road to adjacent substation. Estimated quantity of 1300 tons Remove ground grid (estimated at 30" deep). CONTRACTOR responsible for disposal. Remove below grade conduit (estimated 24"-48" deep). CONTRACTOR responsible for disposal. o Remove below grade concrete man-hole. CONTRACTOR responsible for disposal. o Remove foundations and dispose of all concrete rubble and waste. Backfill foundation holes and compact per DISTRICT specifications. Use existing spoils from site. Remove existing fill dirt to original grade and place spoils in location directed by the DISTRICT. Spoils to be used later in construction of new access road to adjacent substation. Estimated quantity of 3000 Cubic Yards .Relocate dirt piles on site for use on new access road.
