Furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and all other necessary items to Replace Medical Air and Vacuum Pumps located in Building 1, on 10th Floor at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY. NAICS Code: 238220 Size Standard: $19M Set-Aside: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) (see VAAR Clause 852.219-10) Magnitude of Construction: $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 See FAR 52.236-27 for the date and time of the organized site visit. There will only be one (1) site visit on this project. Please make sure you bring any necessary items to properly inspect the site. To obtain clarifications and/or additional information concerning the contract requirement, specifications and/or drawings, submit a written request for information (RFI) via email to Robert.glenn2@va.gov. RFIs must be specific in identifying section, paragraph, and page number and must be in question format. All RFIs submitted shall include the project number and title, contractor name, city, state, phone number, date submitted and RFI questions. Questions received after 2:00 PM ET February 14, 2024, will not be answered unless determined to be in the best interest of the government. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. All questions at the site visit MUST BE in writing and submitted as an RFI. Submit one (1) electronic copy of proposal along with an electronic copy of bid bond to Robert.glenn2@va.gov, on or before the due date/time stated in Block 13. See: Important Offerors Information starting on Page 6. This will be an LTPA requirement. There will only be one (1) site visit on this project. Please make sure you bring any necessary items to properly inspect the site. Submit one (1) electronic copy of proposal along with an electronic copy of bid bond to Robert.glenn2@va.gov Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, material, incidentals and expert supervision needed to: replace existing medical vacuum pumps and associated controls. This will replace the two-pump configuration with three vacuum pumps and controls as needed to operate 3 pumps in Lead-Lag-Standby configuration in accordance with the specifications. Medical Air pumps are not addressed under this contract. Work shall be done to the maximum extent possible prior to shutting down the old vacuum pump system. Once approval for vacuum outage has been granted, old pumps shall be removed, new pumps plumbed into existing vacuum service lines and connected electrically to existing utilities. New vacuum pumps shall installer and verifier testing to ensure proper operation of vacuum pumps system with the new connections and controls.
