There will only be one (1) site visit on this project. Please make sure you bring any necessary items to properly inspect the site. RFIs must be specific in identifying section, paragraph, and page number and must be in question format. This will replace the two-pump configuration with three vacuum pumps and controls as needed to operate 3 pumps in Lead-Lag-Standby configuration in accordance with the specifications. Medical Air pumps are not addressed under this contract. Work shall be done to the maximum extent possible prior to shutting down the old vacuum pump system. Once approval for vacuum outage has been granted, old pumps shall be removed, new pumps plumbed into existing vacuum service lines and connected electrically to existing utilities. New vacuum pumps shall installer and verifier testing to ensure proper operation of vacuum pumps system with the new connections and controls.
