Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gering, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
2024 Street Improvements - Asphalt Streets This project consists of a 2" HMA overlay for Crescent Drive and 17th Street, it will include preparation of the existing surface by milling along the curb line, applying tack and installing 2" overlay. All work is to meet the plans, specifications and city standards. The successful Bidder is allowed 100 calendar days to complete the Project from the date of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,000.00 for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not substantially complete and $1,000.00 for each consecutive calendar day for which all of the work listed on the punch list is not complete. Anticipated Notice to Proceed will be on May 27, 2024. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
