Renovation of a municipal facility in Lynchburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project includes removal of existing and replace with new all windows shown on the Circuit Court building plans, removal of asbestos sealants around existing windows, cleaning the existing window area after removals ready for new window installations. Installing new windows with specified installation methods, caulking around windows per specifications. Because of the Security needed for Circuit Court, all work will have to be completed each day in order to secure the building, no openings can be filled with plywood or plastic materials overnight. City fully understands this will impact scheduling, and will work with approved contractor for times and days to work in all areas. No scaffolding if used, can remain overnight. Parking area will be provided for parking a lift if requested. All requests for clarification of or questions regarding this Advertisement for Bids or for additional information must be made in writing to Will Ruberry at william.ruberry@lynchburgva.gov and received by 2:00 PM, January 10, 2024. All addenda should be signed and accompany any bid submitted.
