The City of Rock Springs seeks qualified companies to fabricate and install a city-wide wayfinding system. The City of Rock Springs (City) is seeking proposals from qualified licensed Sign Contractors (CONTRACTOR), to fabricate and install updated wayfinding sign system components within the City as described in this Bid Request. The work consists of the fabrication and installation of a signage system as illustrated and detailed in Design Intent documents prepared by Avia Design Group, Inc. The implementation of wayfinding system is part of an overall economic development effort to improve navigation, support the "Rock Springs" brand and present a visually appealing impression of the area to visitors, tourists, residents and potential economic investors. The project shall be fully fabricated and installed 16 weeks after notice to proceed unless otherwise negotiated prior to contract award. Deadline for installation no later than May 30, 2024. The project has liquidated damages assigned to it. Every day the project is late beyond the completion dates due to delays attributed to the Contractor and/or their sub-contractors, a fine of $500.00 per day will be assessed for delay of work. The lowest responsive, qualified bid will be accepted with key considerations based upon the experience of the sign contractor, performance history and the benefit to the public. However, the City of Rock Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in the bids received, and to accept or reject any items of the bid for the benefit of the public. No conditional bids will be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing date and time for the receipt of bids.
