Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents Issuing Office:Barge Design Solutions, Inc. 615 3 rd Avenue South, Suite 700 Nashville, Tennessee 37210 (615) 254-1500 The Project consists of constructing a new 8-inch water line extension project to upgrade its distribution system along Independence Road and Stover Road between Oakley Allen Road and State Route 294. The project consists of approximately 18,000 linear feet of 8-inch water line; installation of two pressure reducing valve vaults; air release valves; replacement of service laterals; and installation of associated appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Companys Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractors Licensing Act The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Invitation to Bid. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to readvertise.
