The projected student FTE is approximately 1075, including grade levels Pre-K through 5. Construction commenced in May 2023 and occupancy of the entire campus is projected for August 2024. The proposed playground area will be situated on the south side of the building. The area designated for a new playground will be approximately 15,000 sf. See Attachment H for details on the designated playground area. JCSS invites proposals from qualified and experienced firms for the new design, procurement, and installation of an inclusive playground. Elements of the playground should include, but not be limited to, inclusive wheelchair accessible modules and features that allow all kids to play together, no matter the age or ability while still providing exciting and thrilling play. Additionally, JCSS would like to incorporate sensory features to provide a variety of play experiences. Proposed equipment should be appealing to both disabled and able-bodied users and families
