This project involves a full replacement of 552m of sanitary sewer lines located in the subdivision of Osprey Estates. Respondents are encouraged to review the Geotechnical Report, so they are familiar with the site water table and soil conditions. Parkland County is seeking quotations from qualified general contractor services for Replacement of the Osprey Subdivision Sanitary Sewer located in Wabamun, Alberta. The Contractor shall provide the following Scope of Work to replace the sanitary sewer line within the Subdivision of Osprey. 1. Respondents are encouraged to review the Geotechnical Report so they are familiar with the site water table and soil conditions 2. Replacement of eight (8) manholes (Manholes 58, 59, 60, 61, 84, 86, 87, and 88). Locations will remain the same; HDPE-lined concrete manholes for all locations. Manhole 85 will not be replaced and is to be removed entirely. 3. Main lines between all manholes and the lift station to be replaced with new 200mm PVC SDR35 pipe. Including connection to the downstream lift station using a flexible coupling. Horizontal alignment to remain but vertical alignment to be modified as per drawings in Appendix G. 4. Service lateral replacement on select locations. Remaining laterals not being replaced to be reconnected to the new sanitary main line. 5. Removal, abandonment, and disposal of all old infrastructure, including manholes, mains, and services. 6. Remediation of all sidewalks, landscaping, roadways, and any other areas affected by the construction activities.
